I don’t know about any one else, but my coffee addiction seems to intensify during the winter months. Not only does coffee serve as a delicious beverage and provide a nice boost of caffeine, but it also keeps you warm! Nothing beats a nice hot cup of coffee on a cold winter day. So with that said, here are some fun k-cup recipes to satisfy your coffee needs during the winter months!
Mocha Mint Latte
Ingredients:
1 Extra Bold K-cup
4 oz. skim milk
1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
2 tbs. chocolate syrup
whipped cream
milk frother
Directions:
1. Brew 6-8 0z. of coffee into 14 oz. mug
2. While coffee is brewing, prepare milk in milk frother
3. When coffee is ready, add 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
4. Add 2 tbs. chocolate syrup
5. Gently stir in the hot milk and add sugar or sweetener to taste
6. Top with whipped cream
Caramel Vanilla Delight
Ingredients:
1 Extra Bold K-cup
1 French Vanilla K-cup
2 tsp caramel syrup
half & half
whipped cream
sweetener (optional)
Directions:
1. Brew an Extra Bold k-cup and a French Vanilla k-cup on the small or medium brew setting into a 16-20 oz. mug
2. Add half & half and sugar to taste
3. Top with whipped cream
4. drizzle with caramel syrup
Spiced Mocha Latte
Ingredients:
1 Extra Bold k-cup
4 oz. skim milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbs. chocolate syrup
whipped cream
milk frother
cinnamon stick (optional as garnish)
Directions:
1. Brew 6-8 oz. coffee into a 14 oz. mug
2. Prepare hot milk in frother while coffee brews
3. When coffee is ready, add 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4. Add 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
5. Stir in 2 tbs. chocolate syrup
6. Gently stir in hot milk
7. Top with whipped cream and drizzle with more chocolate syrup if desired
