Collaborative Furniture keeps rolling out

Last year I wrote about a change in furniture style towards furniture that allowed the worker to collaborate easier at the work place.  Collaborative furniture is being driven by a new generation of worker who is technologically savvy, team orientated, and social.

Some neat new collaborative furniture has been designed by Ghent recently.  Known for their whiteboards, Ghent took a look at the changing furniture environment and developed the Nexus line of boards.  From tablet sized boards, to easels, to partitions and caddys, Nexus is a product that truly enhances teamwork and collaboration at the work place.  Nexus is currently being used at organizations like NASA to help provide a more collaborative work place.  Take a look at the Nexus line and let us know what you think.

Also new and on display at the NEOS Business Expo was the Zenergy Ball Chair made by Safco.  This fascinating guest chair with a unique design is made to give incredible comfort and support while keeping the mind open and the body engaged.  The Zenergy chair is a great chair to use in a team orientated setting.  It comes in Crimson, Grass, and Black mesh seat colors.  Did you get a chance to try this chair out at our Business Expo?  Let us know what you thought of it. If you didn’t see it at our show, check it out on the Safco website!

Mayline has recently introduced a new line of desks that have been a few years in the making called e5.  e5 is the go-anywhere, do-anything desk solution that can be used to furnish everything from private offices and open plan spaces to benching applications, all while promoting productivity and collaboration.  At the heart of the e5 desk is a power solution that meets the needs of the most technologically demanding office today and in the future.  The e5 desk is collaborative furniture that is just plain easy.  Check out the e5 on Mayline’s website.

Is your office moving more towards the collaborative design style?
